Inclinometer

An instrument called an inclinometer or clinometer is used to calculate the angles of elevation, depression, or tilt of an object with regard to the direction of gravity.

An object's angle with respect to gravity is measured using an inclinometer, also known as a tilt sensor, clinometer, or slope sensor. Through the necessary electrical link, these tilt or level metres determine the pitch and/or roll angle.

A protractor is a measuring tool used for determining angles. It is commonly made of translucent plastic or glass.
